Abstract

1451388 Adjustable feet TEAM FORM AG 9 Jan 1974 [13 Jan 1973] 01010/74 Heading A4H [ Also in Division E1] A wall 1 of a furniture article or a partition wall 21 includes an adjusting element 2 or 29 or 30 rotatably mounted in a hole in the wall and having a spiral cam surface (7or) 29a or 30a parallel to its axis of rotation against which bears a foot 10 or a rail 23, 24 slideably mounted in a hole in the wall in a direction perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The adjusting element may comprise an eccentric 6 with the cam surface (7) between two discs 4, 5, disc 4 having a hexagonal recess 8 for a tool and indicators (32, 33). The rails 23, 24 each have two adjusting elements, and are provided at the top and bottom of the wall, or on the side edges of the wall, so as to level the wall and clamp the wall against the ceilings, or to clamp the wall against walls of a room. The cam surface may be plain, of saw-tooth form, or comprise consecutive plane faces.
