Abstract
1448585 Masking during electro-plating LUCAS ELECTRICAL Ltd 19 Feb 1974 [15 May 1973] 23002/73 Heading C7B An article of magnetic or magnetized material, e.g. a steel strip, is masked in areas not to be electro-plated using an apertured mask adhered magnetically thereto. The mask may be of a magnetized rubber, unapertured masks being optionally also used. Magnets may be used to hold the article in the bath, which may be for gold plating.
