Abstract

1447181 Moulding foamed resin articles ETAL ANSTALT 2 Jan 1974 [10 Sept 1973] 00044/74 Heading B5A [Also in Division A6] A method of producing a doll, puppet, toy animal &c. comprises rotationally casting a skin of expanded p.v.c and filling the skin with foamed polyurethane to form the body of the article. In an example, a mould is charged with the p.v.c plastisol composition, sealed, heated to 260‹, rotated to form the skin whilst continuing the heating, cooled by air and then water to 40‹C, and then filled with the foamable polyurethane composition which expands to fill the skin.
