1445453 Shutter mechanism PRONTORWERK ALFRED GAUTHIER GmbH 5 Nov 1973 [8 Nov 1972] 51261/73 Heading G2A A shutter mechanism comprises window-opening and window-closing groups of blades all moving rectilinearly at right angles to the direction of movement of the film, each group comprising a slitforming blade forming part of a parallelogram linkage and at least two further blades associated with the slit-forming blade and supported in straight guides. As shown, the window-opening group of blades (the window-closing group being similar) comprises a slit-forming blade 3 connected to operating links 6 and 7 and further blades 4 and 5 having pin/slot connections 4b/6b and 5b/7b with links 6 and 7 and also having pins 4a and 5a sliding in guide slots, (19 and 18), Fig. 1, (not shown), one on each side of the blades. Links 6 and 7 have fixed pivots 8 and 9 and an end-coupling 10 held by a release pawl 16 against the action of a spring 11. Pins 12 and 13 limit movements of links 3 and 4.
