1444652 Polymerised ragweed anngen ABBOTT LABORATORIES and NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY 7 May 1974 [8 May 1973] 20146/74 Heading A5B Polymerised ragweed antigen E is produced by reacting ragweed antigen E with glutaraldehyde at room temperature for four hours. a molar ratio of glutaraldehyde to ragweed antigen E of 100:1 being used, followed by chromatograiphic fractionation. The polymer may 'have a molecular weight of 200000 to 20 X 10<6>. The polymer has greater antigenicity than the monomeric antigen.
