Abstract

1443847 Heat insulated containers KIN HIP METAL & PLASTIC FACTORY Ltd 17 April 1974 16746/74 Heading F4U A double-walled container for the storage of liquids and/or solids comprises outer and inner receptacles 1, 3 provided with complementary relief formations 5, 6 which are sealed by an adhesive to secure the receptacles together. The relief formations may define screw threads, a tenon and recess arrangement providing a bayonet engagement or tenons providing a snap engagement. As shown, the outer receptacle 1 is formed by securing together a rim tion 4, formed with screw threads 5, a main body portion 1 provided with a handle 11 and a bottom portion 2. To assemble the container, the inner receptacle 3 is inserted through the lower end of the main body portion before the bottom portion 2 is secured thereto. The container may be formed of a polycarbonate plastics material.
