1443171 Workpiece clamping DONALD BROWN (BROWNALL) Ltd 5 Feb 1974 [17 Jan 1973] 2403/73 Heading B3B A method of manufacturing a plurality of different pipe fittings having at least two arms angled relatively in a common plane, wherein the fittings are capable of being held for machining purposes in a common clamp having opposed jaws 2 whose surfaces are provided with female formations 3, comprises providing each fitting in the region of the junction to the arms and at each side of the common plane with a male formation 1 which, as between different fittings, have certain common dimensions so as to enable the different fittings to be held firmly by the common clamp. The male formation 1 may have limbs which extend up to a threaded portion to act as a stop for a nut.
