1442791 Construction element J A PETRY 10 Dec 1973 [19 Dec 1972] 57161/73 Heading E1J A construction element (e.g. a door or window frame) comprises a wooden part 24 (or 38) with a groove 26, 27 in each of two opposite sides, the grooves receiving tongues 28, 29 of a plastics member 25 generally of the shape shown in figure 5. The member 25 may have two portions 35 as shown in figure 2. The grooves 37 are for receiving sealing strips. Adjacent frame elements are interconnected to form a mitred joint either by plates jammed between walls 30, 33 of member 25 or by dowels.
