Abstract
1441283 Aerostats ERNO RAUMFAHRTTECHNIK GmbH 7 Nov 1973 [11 Nov 1972] 51692/73 Heading B7W An aerostat has a gas generator attached thereto for generating buoyancy gas, the gas generator comprising hydrazine or a hydrazine mixture and means for effecting catalytic and/or thermal decomposition of the hydrazine or hydrazine mixture to produce the buoyancy gas. The product of decomposition has a molecular weight lower than 15 and the apparatus has particular application in meteorological balloons.
