Abstract
1441105 Carbazole derivatives AGFAGEVAERT 30 Aug 1973 [22 Sept 1972] 44010/72 Heading C2C [Also in Division G2] Novel compounds of the formula wherein Z 1 and Z 2 represent the atoms necessary to complete an optionlly substituted ring; Ar is a bivalent aromatic group and R 1 and R 2 represent hydrogen, an optionally substituted aliphatic or cycloaliphatic group or an aryl group, or R 1 and R 2 together represent the atoms necessary to complete an optionallysubstituted nitrogen-containing ring are prepared by a variety of processes. The novel compounds are useful in electrophotographic recording materials.
