Abstract

1440870 Abrasive tools TYROLIT-SCHLEIFMITTELWERKE SWAROVSKI KG 16 May 1974 [8 June 1973] 21828/74 Heading B3D A flat grinding disc comprises a grinding layer 2 having grain, binding agent and one or more fillers, and a securing layer 3 of foamed plastics material which is foamed on to the mounting side of the grinding layer and has securing means 4 for mounting the disc for use thereof. The thickness of the securing layer may be greater than the depth of the threaded bore which are drilled and cut in known manner. The securing layer may penetrate through part of the grinding layer, or have projections extending into the grinding layer, and cover the grinding layer or be in the form of a ring. The foamed plastics material may be polyurethane.
