Abstract

1440125 Transformers MATSUSHITA ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL CO Ltd 12 June 1973 [28 June 1972 (4)] 27990/73 Addition to 1387647 Heading HIT [Also in Division H2] A line deflection and EHT transformer for a television receiver (see Division H2) comprises a primary winding 34 wound on a first bobbin 42 and having a secondary winding 25 wound on a second bobbin 43, concentric with the first and a further secondary winding 26 wound on a further bobbin 44 on a separate limb of the core 36. The secondary winding 25 feeds a high voltage rectifier 27 and has its lower potential end connected via a further rectifier 28 to the other secondary winding 26. The magnetic coupling between the primary 34 and the high voltage end of the secondary 25 is greater than that between primary 34 and secondary 26. The transformer is filled with oil 38.
