1440116 Proteinaceous food product UNCLE BEN'S OF AUSTRALIA PTY Ltd 5 Sept 1973 [14 Sept 1972 6 April 1973] 41854/73 Heading A2B A plastic texture food product comprises particulate proteinaceous animal meal, for example meat, bone or blood meals, condensed meat or fish solubles, fish or fish by-product meals, poultry or poultry by-product meals, or powdered egg or other egg products, the majority of particles of which are not greater than 100 microns in size, suspended in a continuous phase of an oil or fat vehicle, for example an animal fat or a fish or vegetable oil, the total oil or fat content comprising 10-60 wt % of the product, and the moisture content of the product being less than 20 wt %. The product, which may be employed as a human or animal food, may be used as or in a cover layer for a central core of farinaceous or proteinaceous material of desired size.
