1439838 Diphenylamines IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 11 Oct 1974 [13 July 1973] 33447/73 Heading C2C Diphenylamines and substituted derivatives thereof are prepared by passing in vapour form aniline, optionally substituted in the nucleus by not more than three substituents selected from C 1 to C 4 alkyl, chlorine and bromine, at from 300 to 600 C. over an alumina catalyst into which titanium has been incorporated by treatment with a titanium compound.
