1344636 Fluorochloropyridines IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 29 Oct 1971 [30 Oct 1970] 51773/70 Addition to 1041906 Heading C2C Fluorochloropyridines are prepared by chlorination, including replacement of a methoxy group by a chlorine atom, in the vapour phase at elevated temperature, using at least 5 mols of chlorine per mole of pyridine starting material.
