Abstract

1439176 Two part coupling TRW Inc 15 May 1973 [16 May 1973] 23132/72 Heading H2E A patch connector plug comprises a single row of male terminals and a flange 48 extending parallel to the terminals below the body 24 of the plug. At its end remote from the plug the flange comprises a projection 52 co-operable with a groove on a mating part. The body 24 and the cover 26 may be held together by clips 28 or by thermal welding and a grip 32 may be provided to facilitate separation from a mating part. The angle of the upper edge 54 of the projection 52 may be chosen to provide the separation force required.
