Abstract
1439024 Fluid regulation SKEGA AB 8 June 1973 [12 June 1972] 34476/75 Divided out of 1439021 Heading G3H [Also in Division G4] In a flow control device comprising a body 1 having an inlet 3 and at least two outlets 4, 5, the body is flexible lengthwise so that it can be bent to direct the incoming fluid to one or the other outlet. The body may have external recesses to enhance its flexibility. Advantageously, shoulders are provided at the downstream end of the inlet to produce the Coanda effect. The inlet 3, outlets 4, 5 and cavity 2 may be of rectangular crosssection. The body at least partially consists of rubber or another resilient material.
