Abstract

1437198 Glazing SAINT-GOBAIN INDUSTRIES 8 Oct 1973 Oct 1972] 46933/73 Heading E1R A multiple pane assembly comprises panes 1 separated by a member 10 adjacent their periphery, a heating element 2 deposited on the internal surface of one pane, conductive elements 3, (4) connecting the heating element 2 to terminals 7, (8) and extending outwardly beyond a region of contact with member 10. Elements 3, 4 each extend around substantially half of the periphery and are spaced by gaps 5, 6. The ends of the elements attached to the terminals are extended outwardly. The spacer 10 comprises metal sides with insulating corner pieces, or a metal member painted with insulating varnish. Sealant 12 of adhesive, and an adhesive band 13 are provided.
