1434764 Pesticidal pyrimidinyl phosphorothionate IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 1 May 1974 [4 June 1973] 26555/73 Heading C2P The novel compound o,o-dimethyl-o-Z-diethylamino - pyrimidin - 4 - yl phosphorothionate may be prepared by reacting 2-diethylamino-4- hydroxypyrimidine, or an alkali metal salt thereof, with dimethylphosphorochloridate. The compound of the invention, which has low mammalian toxicity, has insecticidal, acaricidal and nematocidal properties and may be used as the active ingredient in conventional pesticidal compositions.
