Abstract
1409202 Fluorine-containing pyrimidine phosphates and thiophosphates IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 26 March 1974 [25 May 1973] 25207/73 Heading C2P The invention comprises compounds of the formula wherein X is O or S, Y and Z are C 1 -C 4 alkoxy, R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>2</SP> are C 1 -C 4 alkyl and R<SP>3</SP> is H or halogen. They are prepared by reacting a compound or an alkali metal salt thereof with a compound of the formula wherein Q is halogen, preferably Cl or Br. The reaction is suitably effected in an inert solvent or diluent and in the presence of a base. The products have pesticidal properties and may be used as active ingredients in conventional pesticidal compositions which may also contain at least one other biologically active agent, e.g. an insecticide or fungicide.
