1433636 Adjustable curtain rails GELSON INDUSTRIES (UK) Ltd 7 June 1974 [8 June 1973] 27398/73 Heading E1E A telescopic curtain rail 1, 2 adapted to be jammed between opposed surfaces and readily extended in length but not contracted comprises a locking mechanism including a cam lift 6 pivoted relative to the inner member 2 so that it can engage against the inner surface of the outer member 1. The cam lift 6 is pivoted at 7 to a locking member 4 which is connected by a helical spring to the member 2; the cam lift being biassed by a hair spring 8.
