1433228 Spin-drum polyester filaments LUTRAVIL SPINNVLIES GmbH & CO 9 Aug 1973 [10 Aug 1972] 37754/73 Heading B5B Polyester is melt-spun into filaments at a rate of at least 20 m./min. which are then hauled off, drawn and oriented in a single operation, the haul-off speed being from 50 to 300 times the extrusion speed. The filaments may be cooled by a gas stream, and may also be heat-set, preferably by heating the haul-off means.
