Abstract

1432997 Measuring device PREMISURA AG 14 May 1973 [12 May 1972] 22931/73 Heading G1M A measuring device comprises a measuring. element 2 slidable in a housing 1 and connected to a sliding member 4 via a bolt 3, the sliding member 4 passing through a lip seal 16 within the housing. Element 2 is guided by cylindrical end parts 9, 10 in a bore 11, and by the bolt 3 which slidably fits between two adjustable guide strips 12, 13. Member 4 is in the form of a tube slidable on a bar 8. The bolt 3 engages an annular groove in the member 4, one wall of the groove being formed by a spring-biased plate 20. The outside end of the member 4 is provided with a control member 15 to which a force is applied to move the element 2. The element 2 may be a glass measure read by a magnifying optical system, a grating cooperating with a further grating 6, a lamp 7 and a photoelectric element 5, or an electrical winding cooperating with a stationary winding to produce electrical pulses.
