Abstract
1431749 Resilient supports SCHWERMASCHINENBAU KARL LIEBKNECHT MAGDEBURG VEB 17 April 1974 [26 April 1973] 16719/74 Heading F2S A method of resiliently mounting a prime mover on a foundation includes the steps of rigidly inter-connecting respective upper end supports 1 and lower end supports 2 of resilient mountings 3 while unloaded, attaching the upper end supports 1 to the prime mover and lowering the latter on to the foundations 5, laterally locating the lower end supports 2 by means of adjustable stops 6, removing the rigid connections 9 to allow the prime mover to load the resilient mountings 3, replacing the rigid connections 9, aligning the prime mover with a shaft (not shown) to be driven, fixing the lower end supports 2 to the foundation 5, and removing the rigid connections 9.
