1431242 Peptides ABBOTT LABORATORIES 15 Feb 1974 [16 Feb 1973 2 Oct 1973] 7366/74 Heading C2C [Also in Division C3] Benzyloxycarbonyl - L - pyroglutamic acid N-hydroxysuccimide ester is prepared by the esterification of benzyloxycarbonyl-L-pyroglutamic acid with N-hydroxysuccinimide. Benzyloxycarbonyl - L - pyroglutamic acid N<SP>1</SP> - norbornene - 2,3 - dicarboximidyl ester is similarly prepared by the esterification of the acid with N-hydroxynorbornene-2,3-dicarboximide.
