1429669 Archimedean screw pumps SIMONHARTLEY Ltd 30 May 1974 [29 June 1973] 31133/73 Heading F1C A pump, e.g. for irrigation, comprises a cylindrical tube 11 rotatably containing a screw 15, the tube being pivotally mounted about a horizontal axis to a fixed bracket 20 and having at its opposite end a float 22 and a leg 24 which prevents the tube from contacting the bed of water channel W. Means 23 enable the length of float arm 21 to be adjusted.
