Abstract

1409946 Water sprinklers N NAFTALI 26 March 1973 [26 March 1972] 14508/73 Heading B2F [Also in Division F2] A water sprinkler has an adjustable stabiliser tube for supporting it on sloping ground and is adapted to receive and make connection with a distribution line. The riser pipe 12 is screwed into a housing 2 comprising spaced arms 4, 6 which receive a pair of blocks 18, 20 which are shaped to receive the distribution pipe 29 and a stabilising tube 50 which passes through aligned openings 34 and which has an end 54 engagable with the ground at an angle adjustable by rotating the tube. The block 18 has a connector 26 which penetrates the pipe 29. The blocks are caused to pinch the pipe 29 and lock the leg 50 by screwing in the pipe 12. In a modification the top block has a seal spigot which enters the riser pipe and the lower block has a through bore for the tube. Guides and stops for the blocks are provided on the housing legs.
