Abstract

1429220 Junction pieces KITSON'S INSULATION PRODUCTS Ltd 2 April 1974 [4 April 1973] 16141/73 Heading F2G An elbow band 8 cladding an insulated pipe elbow is in the form of a collar of elliptical section and is provided with end portions 10, 11 to embrace the ends of two lengths of cylindrical pipe cladding 1, 2 extending at right angles to each other. The band 8 is formed of two portions 12, 12a of rigid metal or plastics material secured together by a mechanical or an adhesive fixing 13. Alternatively the band may be in one piece of a flexible material having its two ends secured together. The collar may be as shown or of constant width, and in one described embodiment the band is formed of aluminium with a raised figured surface design thereon.
