Abstract

1428028 Train control DEUTA-WERKE GmbH 6 April 1973 [7 April 1972] 16676/73 Heading B7N In a train speed supervisory arrangement, pulses from tachometer controlled pulse generator 11 are counted in counter 14 and when these reach a set number selected by unit 15 and representing a predetermined distance, a pulse is supplied to comparator 18 where its arrival is compared with a pulse generated in unit 17, a fixed interval after the counting commences. If the counter pulse arrives before the interval pulse emergency braking is initiated via switch 19 and line 20. Where the interval pulse precedes the counter pulse the counter and unit 17 are reset via line 21 to restart a further sequence. By altering the set number the unit 15 can supervise the train for controlled braking for which the number is reduced by a set amount after each sequence.
