Abstract

1427639 Packages SONY CORP 26 Sept 1973 [29 Sept 1972] 45043/73 Heading B8C In a method of shrink-wrapping an article, an external strip 11 of film is temporarily secured round the loosely wrapped article, the wrapping film 8 is sealed, and the package is then heated to shrink the packing film 8, and to heat-fuse the strip 11 on the wrapping to serve as a tearstrip. The films may be a polyester such as polyethylene, and may be of different materials.
