1426208 Air filter LUCAS FILTRI SpA 24 May 1973 [9 June 1972] 24849/73 Heading BIT An air filter for an I.C. engine has a rectangular pleated paper element 8 enclosed in a frame of two complementary plastics pieces of generally C shaped configuration 1a, and 1b provided with interengageable fittings 11 and 12. The element 8 is located between parallel internal flanges 5 and 6; the two end folds are held by resilient flanges 7. A removable "cassette" of filter wad (15, Fig. 1 not shown) may be located above element 8 in a channel under lip 14.
