Abstract

1425884 Marine fenders M KEDAR 18 May 1973 [26 May 1972] 23702/73 Heading B7S A dock or wharf fender comprises a scissorlike moving pair of levers 4a, 4b which are pivotally connected at ends 5 to a bumper beam 7. The other ends of the levers are connected in spaced relationship to each other to elongate member 1 fixed to dock wall B so that they slide along the member and act against rubber buffers 8 provided within or on the member. In the embodiment shown these other ends of the levers are connected to member 1 by pins 3 which engage in slots 2.
