1425486 Absorption refrigeration systems A F GUTHRIE 2 May 1973 [5 July 1972] 20771/73 Heading F4H In an absorption refrigeration system of the type comprising a vapour generator 1, a precondenser 8, a main condenser 9, an evaporator 11, a receiver 12 and an absorber 13, condensate passes from the precondenser 8 to the absorber 13 via a U-tube 20 in heat exchange contact with the conduit connecting the receiver 12 and the enlarged base 5 of the generator 1. In working operation of the system, the level of liquid in the vapour generator is the same as the level in the reservoir.
