Abstract

1425070 Roller blinds HUNLAS BV 8 May 1973 [9 May 1972] 21990/73 Heading A4B A bearing device for the roller shaft of a roller blind comprises a bracket 1 having apertures 4 for securing the bracket to a support and a slot 7 open at one end and leading to a part-circular aperture 8, and a member 11 for receiving an end of the roller shaft and having an undercut portion (14) with parallel sides to fit the slot 7 and rounded ends to fit the aperture 8, the member 11 having projections 19, 20 for releasably retaining the member 11 in engagement with the aperture 8 by engaging either of edges 21 or 22 respectively after the undercut portion 14 of the member 11 has been passed along the slot 7 and the member turned through 90 degrees to its shown position. An aperture 9 is provided in the bracket 1 for use when it is supporting the other end of the roller. The projections 19, 20 are bevelled, Fig. 6 (not shown), to facilitate their movement into and out of engagement with the edges 21, 22. The projection 20 may engage in the aperture 9 instead of the edge 22.
