1421959 Releasable fastenings TIME COMMERCIAL FINANCING CORP 21 June 1973 29460/73 Heading E2A A fastening hook for securing the tilting cab of a lorry is moved longitudinally towards and away from a keeper 15 by hydraulic means 16 and has cam surfaces 25a, 25b which engage a casing abutment 22b to constrain it into its engaging axis 13 against tilting spring 19 during its fastening movement. As shown, release is hydraulic and a spring 21 supplies the fastening force, but engagement may be hydraulic too.
