Abstract

1421495 Air conditioning units CAEMCONSTRUCTION D'APPAREILS ELECTRIQUES ET MECANIQUES SA 24 May 1973 [6 June 1972] 24977/73 Heading F4V Air conditioning apparatus comprises an outer easing 1, a duct 2 defining air flow passages within the duct and between the duct and the casing 1, a heat exchanger within the duct 2, a fan 9 and filter 8 at the opposite end of the casing 1 to the duct 2, air outlet ducts 4 for individual rooms, each duct 4 communicating with the passage between duct 2 and casing 1 or the passage within duct 2 under the control of a flap valve 3 which is actuated by an electromagnetic device 13 in response to a thermostat in the room served by the corresponding duct 4. Valves 3 are in the fully open or fully closed position. The apparatus may include cooling and heating heat exchangers 10 and 11 respectively, a humidifier, a germicidal lamp or an ozone generator, all within the duct 2.
