Abstract

1420439 Cleaning conveyer belts C W WARD 23 Nov 1973 [7 Dec 1972] 56588/72 Heading B8A An assembly of conveyer belt scrapers 20, 20 is mounted between carrier members 12 by means of bars 25, the arrangement being such that the distance between the members 12 can be adjusted to suit a particular conveyer installation, and the scraper assembly can be angularly adjusted relative to the members 12. As shown, the bars 25 are of hexagonal crosssection and are slidably mounted in collars 23 which are welded to the scraper assembly. The adjusted position is secured by bolts 29. The angular adjustment is provided by taper plug and socket connections 24, 26, between each bar 25 and the associated member 12. The mounting of the members 12 on the conveyer framework may be as described in Specification 1,137,100.
