1418730 Abrasive tools ORDENA TRUDOVOGO KRASNOGO ZNAMENI INSTITUT SVERKHTVERDYKH MATERIALOV AKADEMII NAUK UKRAINSKOI SSR 14 Sept 1973 [25 Sept 1972] 43184/73 Heading C4V Abrasive tools have a cutting layer comprising a bond throughout which are dispersed diamond particles dispersed in glass comprising SiO 2 , B 2 O 3 and Na 2 O and/or Li 2 O, and one or more of CaO, BaO, BeO, SrO and MgO, the marginal angle of wetting of the diamond with the glass at 600-900‹ C. being less than 90 degrees. TiO 2 , Al 2 O 3 , Cr 2 O 3 and/or ZrO 2 may be present.
