Abstract

1418463 Golf-club bags ST PETER SPORTING GOODS LTD 2 May 1973 [2 Feb 1972] 4813/72 Heading A6D A golf-club bag 2 is divided into longitudinal compartments 3-7 by at least one tubular divider 1. 1a extending the full length and full width of the bag and secured in position. As shown, five compartments are provided by two tubular dividers. In other arrangements either one or two dividers are inserted to provide two, three or four compartments (Figs. 1-3, not shown). The tubes 1, 1a may be of sheet fabric with stitched seams or of woven or knitted tubular fabric, impregnated with a polymeric compound to give stiffness and rigidity. Alternatively they may be of laminated woven fabric, fibre board and PVC. The dividers are fitted either as a force fit, with straps or with rivets.
