Abstract

1418058 Valves ROX LUFTTECHNISCHE GERATEBAU GmbH 24 May 1973 [24 May 1972] 24995/73 Heading F2V A flap valve has a flap 3 extending through a partition 1 and formed with two portions 3b, 3c on opposite sides a central pivotally mounted portion 3a. Portions 3b, 3c close the aperture 2 in the partition in valve closed position and resilient packing around the periphery of the aperture 2 or the portions 3b, 3c seals the closure. The cranked portion 3a of the flap is pivoted in slots 6 in the partition. Alternatively the cranked portion 3d may be pivoted on pins engaged in bearing sleeves. Two flap valves may be simultaneously operated to control flow in a gas mixing device. Gas flow apertures may be rectangular, circular or polygonal.
