1417841 Scaffold decking STERLING FOUNDRY SPECIALITIES Ltd 29 June 1973 [14 July 1972] 33124/72 Heading E1S A scaffolding decking comprises a board 1, e.g. of plywood, fitted along a pair of opposite edges with metal edge reinforcing strips 2 which each have a channel-section portion 8 wherein the edge of the board is received and held and a plane web 6 extending from one edge of the channel portion and perpendicular to the board, each strip having at each end a hook or recess 5 for supporting on horizontal scaffold bars. The strips 2 form part of a rectangular frame including transverse struts 3. In modifications, the two shorter frame members 3, or three of the frame members, may have the channel portion 8.
