Abstract

1417569 Window fitting SAINT GOBAIN INDUSTRIES 1 Dec 1972 [4 Dec 1971] 55575/ 72 Heading E1R A fitting for supporting a panel comprises plates 1, 2 positioned on opposite faces of the panel and clamped together a recess 7, 8 in the plates receiving a hinge mounting member. Plate 1 has a flange 1a projecting through a recess in the panel to abut plate 2. Screws 3 clamp the plates together, and holes 9 receive screws securing the hinge mounting member in the recess 7, 8. An elastic or anti-friction sheet 26 is provided.
