1417355 Piperazines and homopiperazines ICHTHYOL - GESELLSCHAFT CORDES HERMANNI & CO 28 Jan 1974 [29 Jan 1973] 03782/74 Heading C2C Novel compounds of Formula I m is 1 or 2, R 1 and R 2 are H, C 1-4 alkyl, C 1-4 alkoxy or halogen, R 3 is H or C 1-4 alkyl and R 4 is wherein R 5 and R 6 are H, C 1-4 alkyl, halogen or m-CF 3 or R 3 and R 4 together are wherein m<SP>1</SP> is 1 or 2, R 7 , R 8 and R 9 are H, C 1-4 alkyl, C 1-4 alkoxy, halogen or CF 3 and acid addition salts thereof, are prepared by one of the following methods (a) a compound of Formula IV is reacted with X 1 CH 2 CONR 3 R 4 when X 1 is halogen; (b) a compound of Formula VI is reacted with a compound VII wherein X 2 is halogen or C 1-4 alkoxy; (c) a compound of Formula VIII is reacted with an amine R 3 NHR 4 ; or (d) a compound of Formula X is reacted with a compound of Formula XI Pharmaceutical compositions in conventional forms useful for treating lesions of the digestive tract comprise an above novel compound and a carrier or diluent.
