1416326 Hip-joint prosthesis CERAVER 1 Dec 1972 [3 Dec 1971] 55735/72 Addition to 1334584 Heading A5R A prosthesis hip-joint as in the main patent, in which the improvement comprises providing two anchoring studs 15, 18 projecting from the bone-contacting surface 17 of the acetabular member 11, the studs 15, 18 projecting along axes 00' and XY which are perpendicular to the equatorial plane of the hemispherical surface 17. Further studs may be provided and at least one stud may be integrally formed with the acetabular member 11.
