Abstract

1415684 Metal oxido compounds HOECHST AG 9 Oct 1972 [7 Oct 1971] 46535/72 Heading C1A [Also in Divisions C6-C7] A crystalline oxido compound of ruthenium and/or iridium with gallium, indium, thallium, copper, zinc or cobalt is formed by heating a mixture or solution comprising thermally decomposable compounds of the relevant metals at a temperature below 900‹ C. in the presence or air or oxygen. Suitable decomposable compounds include the formates, acetates, oxalates, tartrates, oleates, citrates, stearates, naphthenates and resinates of any of the above metals and the chlorides, nitrosochlorides, nitrosonitrates, complex compounds and carbonyls of ruthenium and iridium.
