Abstract

1415627 Massage appliances UNTERWASSER-ELECTRIC GmbH [trading as UWEUNTERWASSER - ELECTRIC GmbH & CO KG] 13 Feb 1974 [17 March 1973] 06468/ 74 Heading A5R [Also in Divisions A4 and Fl] A pump unit secured to the edge 2 of a swimming pool has pivotally adjustable nozzles 6, 9 issuing jets of water below the water level 4 for massaging purposes or to provide a stream for countercurrent swimming, a housing portion 5 being telescopically slidable relative to a top housing portion 1 to adjust the vertical spacing between the nozzles and the edge 2. A further housing portion 7 is pivotably adjustable relative to the housing portion 5 so that it can rest against the pool wall 3 despite irregularities in the latter. A strap 8 can be placed around a person standing in front of the nozzles 6, 9 for massage purposes. Switches 11, 12 switch the pump on and off, a lever 13 controls the admixture of air in the jets and a lever 14 controls the distribution of the water stream between the nozzles 6, 9.
