Abstract

1415160 Anchoring plugs FOSROC AG 8 Jan 1973 [14 Dec 1971] 58058/71 Heading F2H A facing 1 is attached to a wall 2 by inserting into each of a plurality of holes 3 a cartridge comprising an unsaturated polyester resin separate from a hardener and an inert carrier, followed by a plastics plug 4 having external circumferential grooves and a threaded bore 6. A respective bolt 7 is passed through each aperture 9 in the facing 1 into a respective bore 6, the cartridge being broken by the plug 4 so as to mix the contacts and hence secure the plug 4 in hole 3. The plug 4 may be of nylon, glass-filled polyacetal or polypropylene.
