Abstract

1381850 Anchoring bolts &c. HILTI AG 27 Sept 1973 [20 Dec 1972] 45199/73 Heading F2H [Also in Division B8] A fastening element for use with securing anchor-bolts in bore-holes comprises a twocomponent adhesive, one at least of the components being micro-encapsulated, the microcapsules being uniformly distributed throughout the other component, and the mixture being enclosed in a gas-tight casing. The casing may be of glass, metal, or plastics and is preferaby cylindrical. One component may be an encapsulated unsaturated polyester, and the other may be a loose powdery hardener with filler. A binder may adhere the second component to the micro-capsules.
