Abstract

1412759 Feeding sheets EASTMAN KODAK CO 1 Dec 1972 [2 Dec 1971] 55572/72 Heading B3R An adjustable paper pile guide apparatus comprises at least one set of square rotatable guide members 84, 92 which are individually rotatable in 90 degree increments, each guide member in a set rotating in opposite directions. A large, rotatable drive plate (266, Fig. 2) has a plurality of gear segments (272, 274, 276, 278) which mesh with a number of gudgeon gears 294, 297. Each guide member is fixed to a gudgeon gear but positioned off-centre. Rotation of the plate (266) will cause the guide members to rotate, thereby varying the distance between faces of the guide members in a particular set, allowing the apparatus to accommodate a range of different size sheets.
