1412521 Air passenger buildings H HANSSON 15 March 1973 [20 March 1972] 12633/ 73 Heading E1A A multi-storey air passenger building having docking places for aircraft distributed about its periphery and gates leading to said docking places is characterized in that the departure waiting hall is disposed on a different level to the docking places and that passenger control centres are arranged in a number of places circumferentially in the building whereby passengers progress through the building first radially inwardly and then radially outwardly thereof. The departure hall 11 at basement level has an entrance 23 from a walkway 25 in a tunnel 9, a vehicle parking ramp 17, check-in desks 27, escalators 33, 37, passport controls 29, loading yards 19, passages 21, 23 and service spaces 13 being provided as shown.
